The paint is on! At the heart of Silicon Valley, electric cars that can also “drive” in space are getting a coat of paint.

As a pioneer of electric mobility, Tesla has already delivered almost one million electric vehicles in 2021 — including our passenger car fleet.

The mission

To insulate the paint facility for the Tesla car production line, we loaded wire mats, sheet metal coils, synthetic rubber and accessories into shipping containers in Aschheim, cleared them and sealed them. Accompanied by the freight documents we had prepared, they headed off: by truck, ship, train and truck again, halfway around the world — and finally to Tesla.
